The MHI Credit Union was opened for business in 1957. We are a cooperative, non-profit association. The credit union is designed to provide opportunity for its members to use and control their savings for their mutual benefit, to encourage and promote the habit of thrift, and to create a source of credit for its members at a fair and reasonable rate of interest.

Membership is limited to employees of the Mt. Pleasant Treatment Center and Mental Health Institute and their immediate families.
